Garden Club Plans Yule Fashion Show
"Christmas Fantasy" fashions will be modeled by Coral Gables Garden Club members when they meet at 10:30 a.m. next Wednesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David C. Stouder, 5251 SW 64th Ave. Chairman of the event is Mrs. William T. Hilles, Mrs. Lloyd Rees will be the fashion coordinator for the show which features morning, day, sports wear, cocktail and evening dresses. Among those modeling will be Mrs. George M. Wilson, Mrs. James R. High, Mrs. Franklin J. Evans, Mrs. Ben W. Turner, Mrs. Robert E. Page. Mrs. William A. Quigley, Mrs. John A. Lyden, Mrs. O. J. Williams, Otto Dowlen, Mrs. M. S. Farrar, Mrs. Cleve Allen, Mrs. J. E. Junkin and Mrs. Warren Zinsmaster. Daughters of members who will be modeling are Mary Ann Butler, Carol Harding and Mrs. Robert J. Camp. Mrs. Claud P. Nowlin, president, and Mrs. David C. Stouder, first vice president and hostess, will be in the receiving line. Hospitality chairman, Mrs. James C. Herren, will be assisted by Mrs. William T. McIlwain, Mrs. J. G. Greutner, Mrs. Frank Peterson, Mrs. Fred Freyer, Mrs. Everett H. Butler, Mrs. Herbert Jarvis, Mrs. Joseph Lomax, Mrs. Edward Lunsford and Mrs. Oscar Miller. Members making arrangements for the show are Mrs. Maylen Newby Pierce, Mrs. W. E. Drexel, Mrs. Sydney Craig, Mrs. William J. Bradford, Mrs. M. L. Grossman, Mrs. M. S. Farrar, Mrs. Fred Grinham, Mrs. Evan D. Roser, Mrs. H. C. Solberg and Mrs. Royce M. Powell. MAKING PLANS for the fashion show of the Coral Gables Garden Club which will be held next Tuesday at the home of Mrs. David C. Norma E. Ives to Marry Steve A. Stone in June
Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Ives, 1840 SW 87th Ct., announce the engagement of their daughter Norma E. to Steve A. Stone, son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Stone, 1356 SW 15th St. The wedding date is June 16. The bride-elect is a graduate of Miami Senior High. She attended the University of Miami and was graduated from Jackson Memorial Hospital School of X-Ray Technology. She works in the 401 Building 401 Coral Way. Her fiance, a graduate of Miami Senior High, will be graduated in June from UM. NORMA E. IVES

Riviera Women's Golf Association sponsored a mixed low net, best ball twosome Sunday. Mrs. and Mrs. Jack Straessley and Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Butler tied for first place with a net 64. Tying for third place with 65 were Mr. and Mrs. George Farrell, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Moylan and Mr. and Mrs. Svenson Woodworth. Closest to number two pen was Mrs. Farrell and Svenson Woodworth; closest to number 10, Francis Sams. Team winning the hackers prize was Mrs. Louis McKinley and William Long.
