A number of South Dade women are among winners in the "Big-Little" Recipe Contest sponsored by the National Oats Company, Inc. Women who submitted winning recipes, are: Elda Georgia, of 12001 SW 174th St., Perrine, for her "Mainly Poultry Souffle;" Maria Sol Nieto, of 11435 SW 52nd St., for her "Cuban-Style Meat Loaf." Mrs. J. Conley, of 1444 SW 28th St., for her "Quick Variety Loaf;" Mrs. Joseph Michelson, of 3335 SW 80th Ave., for her "Oatmeal Muffins;" Eetty Nunes, of 19521 Whispering Pines Rd., for her "Oatmeal Raisin Bread." Wilhelmina Oglesby, of 1044 SW 12th Ave., for her "Banana Oat Bread;" Mrs. B. Arangio, of 6470 SW 23rd St., for her "Three-Minute Mixed Doubles;" and Addie Owens, of 19900 Christmas Rd., Cutler Ridge, for her "Cherry Oats Fruit Cake."

Music award

Kimberly Lambert, 13, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Lambert of 6810 Maynada in Coral Gables, was among eight National Music Camp students awarded scholarships to the Interlochen Arts Academy. Kimberly is a student at Ponce de Leon Junior High.

In the service

Cadet Brian A. McCue, son of Mrs. Carolyn H. McCue of 9410 Independence Rd., recently completed an Air Force Reserve Officers Training Corps training encampment at MacDill AFB, Fla. Cadet McCue is a student at the University of Florida. His father, Robert A. McCue, lives at 7240 SW 129th St. Airman First Class William J. Payne, whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. George R. Payne of 8255 SW 140th Ave., recently took part in Brave Shield XIV, a joint-forces training exercise held in central Washington. Airman Payne, a 1974 graduate of Killian High School, attended Los Angeles City College and Central State University in Okla.
