Methodist men

under Carol Corson, will meet in room S-116; grades three and four, under Eileen Horne, will ureet in room S-117; and grades five and six, under Norine-Iverstein, will meet in room S-118. Methodist men The United Methodist Men of Olympia Heights United Methodist Church, 3801 SW 97th Ave., will hold a garage sale Saturday, Sept. 18, at the church.

New members

Orientation for prospective new members of the First United Metohodist Church of Coral Gables, 536 Coral Way, will be held on Thursday, Sept. 9, at 8 p.m. at the Kalaf parsonage, 2901 Granada Blvd. New members will be received during the 11 a.m. service Sunday, Sept. 12, during the church's 50th anniversary celebration. United Methodist Women's Day will be held Sunday, Sept. 12, at the church, and Dr. Kalaf's sermon topic will be "Getting Beyond the Duty Routine."

Unitarians

Registration is open for a religious education program that preaches no dogma at the Unitarian Universalist Society, 7701 SW 76th Ave. Organized classes for pre-schoolers through high school students will begin Sunday, Sept. 12. Infants and toddlers will be cared for by trained sitters. Classes are scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. each Sunday, and parents do not have to be members of the Unitarian Society to send their children to religious school. Yearly costs are $10 per child and $25 maximum per family. For information, call 667-3697 Monday through Thursday, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Church film

Sunday, Sept. 12, at 7 p.m., the film "1776" will be shown at Kendall United Methodist Church, 7600 SW 104th St.
