She is the daughter of Mrs. William Carlton Rentz, of 1631 Tigertail Ave., and the late Dr. Rentz. The groom was Thomas McCollum Bost, son of Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Creasy Bost of Charlotte, N.C. Given in marriage by her brother, Carl Rentz, the bride wore a floor-length gown peau de soie with fitted bodice, scoop neckline and long point-at-hand sleeves appliqued with seed pearls and irridescent paillettes. Her hand-made rosepoint veil of Brussels lace, selected in Europe by the groom and his parents, fell to the end of the cathedral-length train. She carried a bouquet of white orchids and sweetheart roses. Miss Mary Virginia Gaines of Atlanta was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. J. Gibson Johnston of Atlanta; Miss Mary Margaret Morrow, Miss Mary Alice Benedict of Alexandria, Va., and Miss Linda McClain. Dr. Thomas Creasy was best man for his son. Ushers were J. Alvin Harris, Julian J. Clark, John Black, Dyers Moss, all of Charlotte, and Ralph Larry Rentz, brother of the bride. Dr. James Parrish officiated at the 8 p.m., double-ring ceremony and the reception took place at the home of the bride. Mother of the bride wore a pink chiffon gown with circular-tired ruffles on the skirt, and wore pink sweet-heart roses. Mother of the groom was in pink silk linen with draped skirt of chiffon and she wore pink orchids. The bride is a graduate of Coral Gables High School and the University of Georgia where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority. She met her future husband when she worked for the Bank of Georgia, Atlanta, while attending the university.
