Among the passengers on the SS Mariposa which recently left Los Angeles for a 42-day cruise in the South Pacific are Mr. and Mrs. Morgan S. McCormick, 4603 Santa Maria St. ★ ★ ★ The Robert S. Seipp's daughter, Dottie, leaves next week for Atlanta where she will enroll in a class for five weeks' training to become a stewardess for Delta Airlines. She hopes to be based in Miami. The Seipps live at 431 Villabella Ave. Dottie has been a service secretary at International Petroleum here. She's a Gables High graduate and has a year at Stratford College, Danville, Va. About this time last year she was in the news for being chosen "Miss South Miami" in the beauty contest in our sister municipality. THE McCORMICKS MISS PITKUS Miss Betty Pitkus, 1500 Country Club Prado, sailed from New York on the "Statendam" of the Holland-America line recently for a European vacation.
