CG Hospital gets new boss

gables news Edward M. Goldberg has been named acting administrator of Coral Gables Hospital, 3100 Douglas Rd. Goldberg, who has been assistant administrator at the hospital since October, 1975, replaces Richard Thomas. Thomas, who had run the hospital for four years, resigned to join AID, Inc. He will be Eastern Regional Director of seven hospitals, including two in Broward County. Goldberg came to Coral Gables Hospital from Miami Dade General Hospital, where he had been regional administrative assistant for five months. A Coconut Grove resident, Goldberg graduated cum laude from Northern Illinois University in 1973 with a degree in marketing and management. He earned his masters degree two years later at Ohio State University, where he studied hospital and health services administration. Edward M. Goldberg heads staff
