-clubs- Mothers of twins to meet
The South Dade Mothers of Twins Club will hold its monthly meeting Tuesday, Sept. 7, at 8 p.m., at 7915 SW 104th St. Anyone who has multiple births or who is expecting a multiple birth may attend the meeting by contacting Susan Alvarez, president, at 235-8061 or Lyla Baty, vice-president, at 279-6358.
Soul travel
"ECKANKAR - A Way of Life" will be the subject of a lecture to be given at the First Federal Savings and Loan, 2750 Coral Way, Friday, Aug. 27, at 8 p.m. Soul travel, reincarnation and other states of consciousness will be discussed, and a question and answer period will follow. ECKANKAR is the modern version of ancient teachings as presented by Sri Darwin Gross today.
CG Knights
The Knights of Columbus, Coral Gables Council No. 3274, meet every Wednesday at 8 p.m., at the Council Hall, 270 Catalonia Ave., Coral Gables.
Socials set
The regular monthly meetings of the Ladies Auxiliary of the South Dade Post No. 778, Jewish War Veterans will resume Thursday, Sept. 9, at 8 p.m. at Temple Beth Am, 5950 N. Kendall Dr. All eligible women are invited to attend. Contact Mrs. Clein or Mrs. Novins for information. Plans for the coming year include a membership tea, dinner-dance at the Homestead Air Force Base Officers' Club, dinner and various other socials.
Pool care
Swimming Pool Care will be taught by Greg Mitchell of Homestead Pools, Inc., starting Tuesday, Aug. 31, at Redland Community School, 16001 SW 248th St. Pool owners can learn how to keep their pools in good shape and how to handle troublesome problems. The fee is $10 for eight weekly sessions. To enroll, or for more information, contact Redland Junior High Community School at 247-6112, between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, or between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturdays.
