These South Dade girls are married

Mrs. Downing Mrs. Miller Mrs. Attia Attia-Singer Vivian Georgette Singer and David Attia were married Monday, Aug. 23, at the David William Hotel. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Jordan Singer, 9000 SW 64th St.. She is a graduate of Miami Edison Senior High School and attended the University of Miami and Miami-Dade Junior College. The groom is the son of Monsieur and Madame Jacob Attia, of Paris, France. He attended school in Paris. After a wedding trip through the United States, the couple will live in Paris. Downing-Cook Karan Ann Cook and Scott Gregory Downing were married Sauturday, Aug. 14, at Central Presbyterian Church. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Cook, of SW 19th Street. She is a graduate of Coral Park Senior High School and Florida International University. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. R.B. Downing, Madrid Street, Coral Gables. He is a graduate of Coral Gables Senior High School and FIU. After a wedding trip to the Bahamas and Disney World, the couple will live in Decatur, Ga. Miller-Hulse Elizabeth Hulse and Donald N. Miller, Jr., were married Saturday. Aug. 21, at St. Timothy's Parish. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hulse, 3130 SW 103rd Ct. She is a graduate of Southwest High School. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Miller, 9300 SW 41st St. He is a graduate of Southwest High School. After a wedding cruise to Nassau and Puerto Rico, the couple will live in Miami.

Miss Liebler Miss Jacobson Liebler-Hektner Dr. and Mrs. John B. Liebler, 1511 Cantoria Ave., Coral Gables, announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Grace, to Mark Weslie Hektner. Miss Liebler is a graduate of Westminster High School, and attends Vanderbilt University. Her fiance is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Hektner, 3600 Alhambra Ct., Coral Gables. He is a graduate of Coral Gables High School and attends Vanderbilt University. The couple will marry in June, 1977. Jacobson-Mondell Commissioner and Mrs. Albert Jacobson, 1243 Catalonia Ave., Coral Gables, announce the engagement of their daughter, Barbara, to Lee Mandell. Miss Jacobson is a graduate of Coral Gables High School and the University of Florida. Her fiance is the son of Mrs. Sanford Mandell, 12920 SW 69th Ave., and the late Sanford (Sandy) Mandell. He is a graduate of Palmetto Senior High School and the University of Florida. The couple will marry in December. Apuzzo-John Mr. and Mrs. Carl M. Apuzzo, 5725 San Vicente St., Coral Gables, announce the engagement of their daughter, Helen Elisa, to George A. Jahn. Miss Apuzzo's fiance is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George N. Jahn of Coral Gables. The couple will marry in October. Streit-Marks Mr. and Mrs. Eli Streit, of Charleston, S.C., announce the engagement of their daughter Rachel, to Joel Marks. Miss Streit is a graduate of the University of Florida. Her fiance is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Philbert Marks, 8800 SW 54th St., Miami. He is a graduate of the University of Florida and American College. The couple will marry Feb. 26.
