Billy Graham Associate To Speak Sunday
The University Baptist Church at the 8:30 and 11 a.m. services Sunday will hear Dr. Grady Wilson. Dr. Wilson is an associate evangelist with Billy Graham in the Florida Crusade. He has been preaching every Sunday throughout the State of Florida during the past six weeks. Dr. Wilson was a childhood playmate with Dr. Graham. He was converted in the same meeting with the famed evangelist and attended college with Dr. Graham and has been associated with him in evangelistic work ever since. Dr. Wilson will speak on "The Blood of Christ." At the 7:45 evening service, Dr. T. Rupert Coleman, minister of the church, will preach on the subject "The Worth of a Soul." All the week day meetings have been cancelled in order for the congregation to attend the Graham Crusade.
Eisenhower's Farewell Provides Sermon Topic
On Friday, March 10, at 8:15 p.m., Rabbi Herbert Baumgard of Temple Beth Am will speak on the theme, "Eisenhower's Farewell Address - Will We Recognize Its Greatness?" The Adult Education Institute will present on Sunday, March 12, at 10 a.m., "An Analysis of the Administration's Minimum Wage Proposal." This will be a moderated discussion covering the economical problems causing the legislative proposal, a presentation of the content of the Bill, and a discussion of the possible good and bad economical effects of such legislation. Since this is a Temple discussion group, included in the discussion will be an exploration of whether or not there are any "moral" questions involved, and if so, who are the immoral ones in our society?
School Contract Is Awarded
James G. Thompson, Inc., of Miami, has been awarded the $71,436 contract for construction of an addition to Everglades Elementary School, 8375 SW 16th St. According to Miami Builders Exchange, the school addition will contain five classrooms, an activities room, a loggia and two restrooms. A total of 10 contractors bid for the job which is due to be completed for the beginning of school in the fall. Architect is Gordon Severud, of Miami. Engineers are A. Harvey Baxter and William A. Berry, of Coral Gables.
University Of Rochester Glee Club To Sing Here
The University of Rochester Men's Glee Club, under the direction of Ward Woodbury, will present a concert in the South Miami Baptist Church, Wednesday, March 22, at 8 p.m. The 86-year-old organization, which has become one of the best-known collegiate choruses in the country, first achieved national recognition in 1942 when it won out over 140 other clubs in the Fred Waring College Glee Club competition. Last spring it sang for a nationwide television audience on the Ed Sullivan Easter Sunday show. The UR singing group has achieved critical praise for its performance on the annual spring tours which have taken it to many parts of the country. Dr. Woodbury, the Glee Club director, is a graduate of Western State College, Gunnison, Colo., who received his master's and Ph. D. degrees from the University of Rochester Eastman School of Music. He has been director of music at the UR River Campus since 1954 and has had wide experience both as a pianist and as a conductor. For a number of years he was conductor of Rochester's summer Opera Under the Stars productions. He is also conductor of the All-University Symphonic Orchestra and director of the UR Chapel Choir. Robert McNabb, minister of music at South Miami Baptist Church, is chairman of arrangements for the concert. No admission charge will be made, but an offering will be taken to defray expenses.

'Seeds Of Hope' Is Rabbi's Topic
On Saturday, March 10, at 8:15 p.m., Rabbi Morris A. Skop, spiritual leader of Temple Judea, will speak on the theme, "Seeds of Hope" at the Sabbath Service. * * * On Saturday, March 11, Rabbi Skop and Cantor Herman K. Gottlieb will officiate at the Bar Mitzvah of Paul Klein, son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Klein, and Marc Strassburg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Strassburg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Strassburg, during the Torah Service at 10:30. Mr. and Mrs. Klein and Mr. and Mrs. Strassburg, parents of the Bar Mitzvah boys, will be hosts at the Kiddush-Sanctification immediately following the service, in honor of the occasion. Charles Rogers Heads Recreation Board
Charles Rogers has been elected chairman of the recently created Recreational Advisory Board. Rogers was picked by fellow members Monday in a meeting held at City Hall. Bernard B. Weksler had served as temporary chairman while the seven-man board was being organized. Other members of the board are Mrs. Stanley Fosgate, William Charlton, Mrs. Dorothy Hoover and Larry Adams.

Spring Inspires Temple Sermon
Services at Temple Zion will start at 8:30 Friday evening, March 10. Rabbi Alfred Waxman will deliver the sermon, "Spring! A Month or a Season?" On Saturday at 9:30 a.m., March 11, Robert Bloomfield, son of Mr. and Mrs. Irving Bloomfield, will be Bar Mitzvah. Robert is a seventh grade student at West Miami Junior High School. Arriving for the Bar Mitzvah from Philadelphia will be Mrs. Joseph Gorchov, his grandmother. The Kiddush will be tendered by Mr. and Mrs. Irving Bloomfield to which the congregation and friends are invited.
Neal Litman Is Bar Mitzvah
NEAL LITMAN Neal Litman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Litman, 9601 SW 62nd Ct., will be Bar Mitzvah Saturday morning, March 11, at 9:30 in the Temple of the Coronet Hotel, Miami Beach. Neal is an 8th grade student at Palmetto Junior High. Rabbi Mayer Herman of New York City, an old friend of the family, will officiate at the services. Arriving for the Bar Mitzvah will be Neal's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Litman of New York City. Mrs. Jean Werner, his grandmother, is a resident of Miami Beach. A reception and dinner in Neal's honor will be held at the Seville Hotel, Saturday evening.
Lectures Scheduled To Introduce Unitarianism
"Who Is Albert Schweitzer?" will be the sermon subject of the Reverend Robert W. Sonen, minister of the First Unitarian Church, 46 SW 29th Road, on Sunday, March 12, 11 a.m. For three Thursday evenings, beginning March 16, 8:15 p.m., Mr. Sonen will give a series of lectures on "Introducing Unitarianism" at the church. These meetings are free and open to the public.
Caster Named To League
George B. Caster, president of the Coral Gables Federal Savings and Loan Association, has been appointed to the 1961 Insurance Committee of the United Savings and Loan League.
WILLIAM S. HARMON will address the Coral Gables Rotary Club, Friday, March 10, at the Coral Gables Country Club. Harmon is director of administration of World Neighbors, Inc. World Neighbors, Inc., is a practical program of International Relations. It is a people-to-people action program stressing farming, public health, village industries, with its emphasis on self-help.

Church Of Little Flower Honors Festival Workers
A get-together honoring all of the recent Festival workers was held at the Church of the Little Flower recently. Coffee was served from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., Sunday, March 5, at the church rectory, 1270 Anastasia Ave. All English and Spanish persons who helped in the Festival were invited to attend.
Ronnie Greenstein Is Bar Mitzvah
On March 11, Ronnie, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Greenstein, 2747 SW 19th St., will be Bar Mitzvah at the Israelite Center at the morning services. Rabbi Morton Malavsky will officiate. Cantor Louis Cohen will ren the liturgy. Ronnie is a student of the Israelite Center Religious School, and a student at the Shenandoah Junior High School. Out-of-town guests will be Mr. and Mrs. Morris Kryshka, grandparents of Ronnie, from New York and also Mr. and Mrs. Harry Kryshka, from Long Island, N. Y. A Kiddush and reception will be held in the Social Hall after the religious ceremony.
Flags Are Presented To St. Theresa School
American Flags were presented to each classroom of St. Theresa School by American Legion Post 98 of Coral Gables recently. The Veterans of Foreign Wars, Ray Renuart Ladies Auxiliary 5718 of Coral Gables, also presented the new 50 star flags to Cub Scout Pack 11 and 17 of St. Theresa School.
