Hartmans To Live In San Francisco
On a wedding trip to Boise, Idaho, with destination San Francisco, where they will reside, are Mr. and Mrs. John Paul Hartman, whose wedding took place Sunday afternoon at the Pinecrest Presbyterian Church. The bride, the former Mary Alice Creekmore, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Burrell A. Creekmore, of 5730 Maggiore St. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William G. Maynie, of 2509 Lake Shore Dr., Orlando. Bride's Gown Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a waltz length gown of pure silk satin made with fitted bodice and full skirt. Reembroidered hand made French lace trimmed the bodice which featured a shallow scoop neckline and short sleeves. Her French illusion veil fell from a tiara of tiny pearls. She carried a cascade of white orchids and an heirloom handkerchief which belonged to her great grandmother. Barbara Dickinson of Boston, former roommate of the bride at Harvard, was maid of honor. Helen Hilson, cousin of the bride, and Patricia Fuller, sorority sister of the bride, were bridesmaids. Nora Heacock, also a cousin of the bride, was flower girl. The four attendants wore identical gowns of mist yellow taffea designed with portrait neckline, short sleeves and dome shaped skirts. They carried crescents of yellow and gold carnations with moss green leaves and ribbons. Best Man William J. Haynie, father of the groom, was best man. Ushers were John A. Creekmore, brother of the bride, George E. Mayer Jr., Wayne Barrett and Gary Barrett. The Rev. J. Whitfield Sloan officiated at the 3 p.m. service. The bride and groom pledged their vows in double ring ceremonies. The reception followed at the home of the bride's parents. Miss Rita Brinkman kept the guest book. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Creekmore wore a pink lace gown with short overskirt of iridescent pink taffeta, matching hat and a white orchid corsage. Mother of the groom was in pale blue Italian silk sheath gown with floral appliques on the soft front drape of the skirt. Her accessories matched, and she wore orchids. Wedding Guests Among out-of-town guests at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jones of Clermont; the Cyril John Geisler family of Orlando; Mrs. Milton Schatzman and her cousin, Mrs. Selma Eyrich, of St. Cloud.
