Barbara Frederick Is Now Mrs. Clarke
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Delmas Clarke are residing at 901 Hardee Rd, following their March 1 wedding at Plymouth Congregational Church. The bride is the former Mrs. David (Barbara Bement) Frederick, of 8375 SW 52nd Ave., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Dennison Bement of Old Deerfield, Mass. The groom is formerly of New Orleans. The bride, given in marriage by Mrs. Arthur Kapplow, daughter of the bridegroom, wore a rose beige lace sheath style gown with matching color ribbon hat and accessories. Her flowers were green and white orchids. Maid Of Honor Robin Frederick, 12-year-old daughter of the bride was maid of honor. She wore an old fashioned flower print in chartreuse and pink and carried an old fashioned nosegay of flowers. Mrs. Altha E. Stalford, 1101 Miller Rd., was matron of honor. Her sheath style gown was of brown silk-linen. She wore a white orchid corsage. G. Willard Horne of La Gorce Island was best man. Afternoon Rites Dr. David J. Davis, pastor of the church, officiated at the 5:30 p.m. ceremony. The reception took place in the church gardens. The bride is a graduate of Deerfield Academy and of Vassar College. The groom is a graduate of Taft School, Yale University and the University of Grenoble. The couple are planning a trip East in June, and the bride hopes to attend her 10th class reunion at Vassar.
Judith Rempe To Be Bride On May 6
Mr. and Mrs. William Henry Rempe, of 4618 SW Third St., announce the engagement of their daughter, Judith, to William Jude Kilburg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold William Kilburg of Chicago, Ill. The wedding is planned for May 6 and will take place in Chicago. The bride-elect, a native of Coral Gables, was graduated from Coral Gables High School and attended the Touro School of Nursing, Tulane University Medical School, at New Orleans. She is presently a flight stewardess for American Airlines out of Chicago. Her fiance is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Ind., and served in the United States Air Force. He is presently an associate of the McDonnell & Co., Chicago, member for the New York Stock Exchange.
Engagement Is Announced
Mr. and Mrs. Edward A. Holly, of 6300 SW 62nd Pl., South Miami, announce the engagement of their daughter, Marcia Vivian, to Hal Dresner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Seymour Dresner, of 1341 Stillwater Dr., Miami Beach. The wedding will take place May 28. Miss Holly received her degree from the University of Miami and Mr. Dresner from the University of Florida.

Queen Of Americas Will Be Named
Mrs. Nester Moralas is chairman, assisted by Mrs. Marie Enterline, of the Alianza Interamericana "Sweethearts Ball" to be held Saturday at the DuPont Plaza Hotel. Luis Herrere and his orchestra will provide music for dancing. The Queen of the Americas for 1961 will be selected between the hours of 9:30 p.m. and 1 a.m.
James Batal Is Guest Speaker
James Batal, of Coral Gables, will be the speaker Wednesday, when the Lady Alice Needham Bryan Chapter, Colonial Dames of the 17th Century meet for luncheon at the Riviera Country Club. Mrs. Henry O. Street, Chapter president, will preside. New officers will be elected and annual reports will be made.
