Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Dansyear of 846 Majorca Ave. had a dinner party in honor of their daughter Patricia's presentation. The affair was held at the Coral Gables Country Club. ★ ★ ★ Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Pound and daughter, Mrs. Francis, from Charlotte, N.C., are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Eugene J. Neary Sr., of 630 Majorca Ave. ★ ★ ★ Miss Florence M. Short, who was superintendant of the Woman's Aid Society in Hartford, Conn., for 18 years has retured and plans to make her home here with her sister Mrs. Francis Mallory of 729 Majorca Ave. ★ ★ ★ Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Wellman from Washington and their five children are visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold S. Tewell of 913 Majorca Ave. ★ ★ ★ A son was born April 26 at Doctor's Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Don Vickers of 929 Majorca Ave. The baby was named John William and he is the Vickers' third child. ★ ★ ★ Mr. and Mrs. Dan McInnis of 1236 Manati Ave. lunched at the Coral Reef Yacht Club with guests, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Lempke of Milwaukee. Mrs. Lempke is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gable. ★ ★ ★ rority, the Patrons of the Museum of Science and Natural History and is listed in Who's Who of American Women. On her way to the top office, she served as recording secretary, welfare treasurer and first vice president. She wrote the script for the club's annual Cabaret, entitled "Let's Do It Again" for 1962. ★ ★ ★ MRS. GABRIEL Pat (Mrs. Gene) Gabriel, 756 Malaga Ave., endeared herself to local clubwomen back in 1955 when she first came to Coral Gables for her ability to give hilarious monologues. Pat began her club work and stage career in Chicago, writing rules and conducting play contests. She appeared in the 1933 Chicago World's fair in a children's review. She is second vice president of the Coral Gables Woman's Club and her husband is with the Federal Aviation Authority, in the air traffic control. They have one daughter, Patricia, studying for the opera who has appeared in various local functions as soloist. ★ ★ ★ Lois Bonagura, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Bonagura of 324 Ridgewood Rd., will be home from Douglass College, N.J. This is her first visit home in two years. ★ ★ ★ Mr. and Mrs. G. R. Serino have moved into their new home at 1441 Robbia Ave. They lived next door at 1433 Robbia until two weeks ago. ★ ★ ★ Dr. and Mrs. John H. Brush of Omaha, Neb., are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Edw. E. Brush of 901 Roderigo Ave. MRS. PERENO Mrs. Joseph Pereno Jr., 198 Sunrise Ave., is the new president of the Coral Gables Junior Woman's Club (founded in 1929) and with other officers was installed in May breakfast ceremonies yesterday at the Riviera Country Club. Madeline Took Tickets as Penwomen Ate Breakfast

By HELEN REYNOLDS Times Society Editor Mrs. Jack Winebrenner, 4601 University Dr., and a member of the Coral Gables Branch, National League of American Pen Women, had 11 guests with her at the Pen Womens' breakfast last Thursday at the Riviera Country Club. They were Mrs. Earl Giffen, Mrs. Warren Zinsmaster, Mrs. A. L. Kennedy, Mrs. Rand Warren, Mrs. Milton Sylvester. Mrs. Lee Barber, and from out-of-town Mrs. Clarence O'Dell of Chicago and Mrs. John Erickson, of Evanston, Ill. Mrs. Ralph Bergstresser, 1426 Garcia Ave., was the guest of Sue (Mrs. Conley) Addington. Mrs. Bergstresser, and her husband, pastor of the St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 414 Valarde St., came here two years ago. They have two children, David who attends Coral Gables High, and Emily, who attends David Fairchild Elementary School. The new officers were seated at the head table, with Mrs. William T. Hilles, immediate past president of the Coral Gables branch, the emcee. At her left was Mrs. Fred Dieselhorst the new president of the Gables branch. Also at this table were Dr. Bertha Foster, founder of the Musicians Club of America and Mrs. Clifton J. Muir, 3804 Alhambra Cir., a vice president of the National Federation of Music Clubs and a director of the Gables branch. Mrs. Madeline Irwin, new state president of the National League who lives with her husband John at 327 Mendoza Ave., was at the ticket table entrance to the ballroom. Mrs. Irwin, scholarship chairman, gave us a list of 28 local members admitted into the Coral Gables Branch during the past three years.
