Newlyweds Take Trip To Jamaica
MRS. TERRENCE WILSON GRANT Newlyweds Take Trip To Jamaica Off on a honeymoon trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, are Mr. and Mrs. Terrence Wilson Grant, whose wedding took place Saturday afternoon at the Church of the Little Flower. The bride is the former Margaret Ann Shader, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milton I. Shader, of 7031 SW 58th St. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. H. V. Grant, of 7101 SW 71st Ct. Satin And Lace Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a bridal gown of white satin and Chantilly lace designed with fitted bodice with Sabrina neckline and long point-at-hand sleeves. Her French illusion veil fell from a large flower of the illusion. She carried a white prayer book covered with white orchids. Barbara Jean Shader, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and only attendant. Her gown of Romance blue silk organza and Chantilly lace was complemented with matching accessories. She carried a bouquet of white carnations tipped in blue. Arthur Prichard of Miami was best man. The groom's twin brothers, Robert Grant and Bruce Grant, were ushers. The bride's pastor, the Rev. Louis C. Roberts, officiated at the double ring, candlelight 2 p.m. ceremony. The reception followed in the Santa Marta Room of the Key Biscayne Hotel. Grey Sheath For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Shader chose a grey embroidered silk sheath gown with blue accessories and a white orchid corsage. Mother of the groom wore a champagne brocade with matching accessories and an orchid corsage. The bride was graduated from Coral Gables High School. The bridegroom was graduated from Coral Gables High School, Alabama Polytechnic Institute and the University of Miami. The couple will reside at 2121 SW 14th Ter. on their return from Jamaica.
June 23 Wedding Plans Announced
Mr and Mrs. Robert J. Sullivan, 9450 SW Montgomery Dr., announce the engagement of their daughter, Georgia Ann, to Jerome Arthur Stahl, 7408 SW 53rd Ave., South Miami. A June 23 wedding date has been set by the couple. The bride-elect is a graduate of Coral Gables High School where she was a member of Junior Girls Service Club. She is a junior at Florida State University and presently interning in nursing at Jackson Memorial Hospital. At FSU she is a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. She is also a member of Country Club of Coral Gables. Gables Graduate Her fiance is also a graduate of Coral Gables High School, where he was president of the Crescent Club and member of the National Athletic Scholarship Society. UM Graduate He was graduated in January from the University of Miami. He is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Arthur L. Stahl, formerly of Coral Gables now of Mexico. Dr. Stahl, research professor of Food Technology and director of the Tropical Food Research Laboratory at the University of Miami since 1947, and Mrs. Stahl arrived home this summer after 13 months in India, where Dr. Stahl was also with the United Nations. He is now director of Tropical Food Laboratory with the Food and Agricultural Organization of the UN in Mexico. MISS SULLIVAN

The first meeting of the Coral Gables - South Miami Study Group of Brandeis University National Women's Committee, Greater Miami Chapter, was held Feb. 8 at the home of its leader, Mrs. Seymour Leopold, 5903 SW 65th Ave., South Miami.
Mardi Gras Is The Theme
Mrs. John M. Caldwell, president of the Medical Faculty Wives Club of the University of Miami School of Medicine, announces that the group will sponsor a benefit Mardi Gras dinner dance Monday at the Country Club of Coral Gables. Mrs. Richards Stover, chairman, said that the tickets are $6 a person and that the student loan fund of the UM Medical school will benefit. Mrs. Joseph Lomax, MO 6-8055, is taking reservations for tables and sale of tickets. Cocktails at 6:30 p.m. will precede the dinner. A King and Queen of Mardi Gras will be selected by drawings, also the members of their Court. Authentic Mardi Gras music and decoration from New Orleans will be used. Dress is optional. Members and all friends of the University Medical School are invited.
