Candlelight Service Unites The Clarence Parramores

On a wedding trip, with destination Wichita, Kans., where they will reside, are Air Force Lieutenant and Mrs. Clarence Greer Parramore III, following their wedding Saturday at the Riviera Presbyterian Church. The bride is the former Frances Anne Philips, daughter of Mrs. W. Ingram Philips, of 7221 SW 53rd Ct., and the late Mr. Philips. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Parramore Jr., of 744 Santurce Ave. Candlelight Service The Rev. John D. Henderson and the Rev. Ray W. Davies officiated at the 8 p.m. candlelight service. The couple pledged their vows in double ring ceremonies. Given in marriage by her brother, W. Ingram Philips, the bride wore a floor length go [?] of peau de soie lace designed with fitted bodice, Sabrina neckline and point-on-hand sleeves. Her voluminous veil fell from a crown of pearls. She carried a cascade of white roses and baby's breath. Patricia Ann Gemmel of Orlando was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Linda Buhl of Cala and Spencer Parramore, sister of the groom, of Coral Gables. They wore identical gowns of Royal blue satin and carried bouquets of mixed rose red and white flowers. A. M. Seaber Jr., of Coral Gables, was best man. Ushers were William B. Hayes of Safety Harbor; Jerome Stahl and James M. Faust, of Miami. Church Reception The reception followed in the church hall. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Philips chose a turquoise silk sheath gown with matching hat and shoes. She wore white orchids. Mother of the groom wore an eggshell brocade with matching accessories and pink roses corsage. Out-of-otwn guests included Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Mirkinson, Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Whitmore and Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Knox, all of Jacksonville; Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Parramore, Mr. and Mrs. James F. Parramore and Miss Pat Parramore, all of Tallahassee; Miss Nell Lewis of Ocala; Mr. and Mrs. Eugene W. Boles and Miss Eugenia Bowles of Mariana, and the Rev. and Mrs. T. D. Elder of Albany, Ga. Among the prenuptial parties given for the bride were two miscellaneous showers with Mrs. James J. Norton and Mrs. D. E. Boerema, hostesses and Mrs. W. L. Amos, Mrs. A. E. Brown and Mrs. L. S. Edwards, hostesses for the second. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Parramore Jr. gave a luncheon for the wedding party and the out-of-town guests. The bride was graduated from Coral Gables High School and attended Florida State University. The groom was graduated from Coral Gables High School and attended the University of Miami and Georgia Military College. MRS. CLARENCE G. PARRAMORE

Fashion Show Is A Benefit

Alpha Delta Pi Sorority of the University of Miami and the Miami alumnae chapter will present "In the Heart of Fashion '61", a luncheon fashion show, at the DuPont Plaza Hotel at 12:30 p.m., Feb. 14. All proceeds will go to the Crippled Children's Foundation of Dade County. Jackie Pierce, local television personality, will be commentator. Models will be from the active chapter and the alumnae chapter. Tickets can be obtained by calling Mrs. H. L. Gregory at HI 8-2774. The Crippled Children's Foundation is for crippled children, and this donation will be used expressly for out patients who can't afford treatment or can't get to the clinic for treatment. After the fashion show, there will be bridge for those who wish to remain. The public is invited.

Mrs. Leonardy To Be Speaker

Mrs. Herberta Ann Leonardy, president of the National Association of Parliamentarians, will be the speaker tonight, when the "Herbertans", parliamentary law club, meets at 8 p.m. at the home of the club's president, Miss Dorothy MacMaster. Mrs. Leonardy, who is speaker in the absence of Mrs. Esther Munson, regular instructor and member of the club, will present the lesson. The Herbertans have a program known as "Cram Year" with lessons in parliamentary procedure being stressed. They will also make further plans for a book review by Mrs. Frank Kerdyk to be given, Feb. 23.

Phi Sigma Sigma

Mrs. Harry Mayerowitz, 8401 Maggiore Ave., was hostess last Thursday for the alumnae meeting of Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority. Mrs. Stanley Denmark, a member of the sorority Grand Council was a guest. Anita Mayerowitz Schwartz, a former Archon of Beta Theta Chapter and daughter of the hostess, who is visiting here from New Jersey, also attended.
