These South Dade girls hear August wedding bells

Paxton-Welsh Barbara Jean Welsh and John Frederick Paxton were married Saturday, Aug. 28, at St. Augustine Church in Coral Gables. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Robert Welsh, 1755 SW 70th Ct. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick George Paxton of Canada. The couple will live in Miami. Wexelbaum-Indianer Dorothy Indianer and Lee Wexelbaum were married Sunday, Aug. 29, in Temple Judea of Coral Gables. The bride is the daughter of Paul S. Indianer and Julietta Feldman, 7851 SW 143rd St. She is a graduate of Palmetto High School and attended Miami-Dade Community College. The groom is the son of Bert Wexelbaum and Pearl Frasher, 7540 SW 34th St. He is a graduate of Coral Park High School and is a chef at Cye's Rivergate Restaurant. The couple will live in Miami. Fierro-Forrest Janet Lesley Forrest and Ronald Wayne Fierro were married Friday, Aug. 20, at Plymouth Congregational Church in Coconut Grove. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Tyler Forrest, 10795 SW 69th Ct. The groom is the son of Mrs. Ronald Fierro and Vito Fierro of Miami. After a wedding trip to Sanibel Island, the couple will live in Miami. Reynolds-MacGill Ann Loyd MacGill and Robert Rice Reynolds, III, were married Saturday, Aug. 21, in Eagles Mere, Pa. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John MacGill, of Baltimore, Md. She attended schools in Baltimore and Boston, Mass. The groom is the son of Mrs. Robert C. Lau of Coral Gables and the late Robert R. Reynolds, Jr. He is a graduate of Coral Gables High School, Suwanee Military Academy and Stetson University. Killian High grad announces betrothal

Hicks-Rogers Mrs. J. Claude Hicks of South Miami Heights announces the engagement of her daughter, Carolyn Eva, to Robert A. Rogers, IV. Miss Hicks is a graduate of Killian High School, and Miami-Dade Community College, and attends Florida State University. Her fiance is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Rogers III of Kendall. He is a graduate of Palmetto High School and Miami-Dade Community College, and attends Auburn University. No date has been set for the wedding. Russo-Pepe Mr. and Mrs. Laura L. Russo, 1101 Sunset Dr., announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura L., to Richard Kane Pepe. Miss Russo is a graduate of Carrollton School for Girls and attends the University of Miami. Her fiance is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Vincent Pepe, of Meriden, Conn. He is a graduate at the University of Miami. No date has been set for the wedding.
