Students to get discount bus fares
Dade County students, grades 7 through 12, with the proper identification cards, may once again ride MTA buses anytime seven days a week for the reduced fare of 15 cents. Individual schools will issue MTA student identification cards for the current school year. Conditions pertaining to the reduced fare policy are described on the identification cards. Elementary school children also qualify for the reduced fare although they are not required to have I.D. cards. For more information, call MTA information at 633-9881.
Adult Ed
Coral Park Senior High Adult Education Center, 8865 SW 16th St., is now offering woodworking, ornamental ironwork (metals), drivers' education, graphic arts (printing), creative ceramics, oil painting, weight lifting, and slimnastics. These courses meet from 7 to 9:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and the fee is $5. For more information, call or visit Coral Park, 226-6565, from 4 to 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
